yep, it's lil wayne, and today he delivers his first new song to drop during his stay in the pound. this isn't a remix or a mash up or anything other than pure brand new lil wayne dropping some long awaited fresh rhymes. drake joins on this track and stays out of the way for the most part because we all know its wayne we want to hear. do enjoy, we sure are.
also, the white panda brings us a brand new mash up of two of our favorites, titled Pop Bottles Baby. personally I find this a bit uncreative, so I'd suggest "Baby Bottle Pop" as a more apt title.
I love house music. Hot chicks love house music. I love hot chicks who love house music. I love dirty house, clean house, dutch house, electro house, progressive house, brick house I don't care I love it all. So here is some house music: This is kindof like that black eyed peas song but better because its....HOUSE. Felguk feat. Sporty-O - 2nite (Original Mix) by Dj-A-Rel This song is just amazing I love girls singing in house music: Afrojack feat. Eva Simons - Take Over Control by Dj-A-Rel This song is a demo meaning that it will be recorded with a different aka more popular artist rumor is rihanna but I'm diggin this song already. I mean lets be honest anything guetta touches turns into a banger. Rico Love - Extra Hard (Prod. By David Guetta) by Dj-A-Rel Brick house haha classic Commodores - Brick house by Dj-A-Rel
New mix by Dj A-Rel!! I've had somewhat of a writers block for mixing music which was really discouraging but around this time last week inspiration hit in the form of some fatty beats played over some billboard top 100 songs ya feel me. I think the whole mix is pretty solid much better then previous work but around 18 minutes is when this shit gets extra bonkers. Your ears won't be disappointed! Dj A-Rel Summer 2010 Set by Dj-A-Rel Bonus track: Ryan leslie way you move: an oldie but a goodie, simply a great song, one of the best, possibly thee best. The Way that You Move Girl- Ryan Leslie (ft Nas) by Dj-A-Rel
Yes lil wayne is still in jail until november 14th that is but people can't stop mashing his songs up and thank god. Here are two sweet lil wayne mashs but first a few words from the man himself: Hello world… I’m good. Counting the days and still smiling. Most of those smiles come from hearing my kids’ voices over the phone. The others come from reading fan mail. Let me just say that I have the best fans in the world! The devotion, dedication, support, love, and most of all, prayers are simply the best. I never imagined that I could have such an impact on people’s lives. Because of this, I vow to be a bit more careful of what I say.
So I’ve been writing and let me be the first to tell you that the lyrics that I’m writing are… well there’s no word that I can think of that properly defines them. Amazing would be too typical and perfect would be unfair. I listen to the radio sometimes, emphasis on sometimes, and I hear the new music. I like some. I applaud my Young Money family for what they’re doing. As I’m not surprised. This is what we’re supposed to do. Congrats to Drake and Nicki for all their recent success. Those 2 are going to have me retiring early. I love my team. Much love to Tez and Mack. I know that people are inquisitive of what I do all day, so here goes. I wake up around 11AM. Have some coffee. Call my kids, and my wonderful mother. I then shower up. Read fan mail. Have lunch. Back on the phone. Read a book or write some thoughts down. Have dinner. Phone. Pushups. Then I listen to ESPN on the radio. Read the bible, then sleep. That’s my day.
I’ll end this letter, but never my love. I’m gone. Oh, and how ‘bout dem Lakers!?!
P.S. I thank my fans for appreciating me the way you do.
Da hell the cataracs aren't black??.....whatever. The cataracs have alot of famous songs like bass down low, like a g6 and club love but this song is better than their more popular songs. Vibrator by The Cataracs ft Gucci Mane by Dj-A-Rel This next song is by trey songz and is a pretty typical hip hop talking about going to a club and acting all hardcore drinking every fallen soldier in site and stealing everybody's girlfriends blah blah heard it before. Good thing its catchy as hell. Trey Songz feat. Nicki Minaj - Bottoms Up by Dj-A-Rel This is a new Mike posner song off his new album 31 minutes to takeoff. Should be something special. Mike Posner - Please Don't Go by Dj-A-Rel This next song is fire usher and Jay-z oh hell yea!! Oh yea and hot toddy is a mixed drink that is served hot usually before bed haha i get it. Fuckin love this song. Usher feat. Jay-Z & Ester Dean - Hot Toddy by Dj-A-Rel
That might as well be the motto of most indie musicians because once they get popular they loose half of their fanbase because they have become dare I say "mainstream". Well the following groups have nothing to worry about because noone knows them and thats why there cool.. right. First is Foals who we have not heard of but have a great relaxing song out called miami Miami -Foals by Dj-A-Rel
And the next is by a band that we've been diggin alot they kindof remind us of phoenix. Also besides their great music they also have the band picture down where only one person looks at the camera while the others pretend that they are preocuppied with something else, priceless. Two Door Cinema Club - I Can Talk by Dj-A-Rel
"Dynamite" by Taio Cruz - we had this one tagged a while back and never got around to putting it up, but figured it was time ever since the top 40 stations got a hold of it. theres no question this will be all over the court in the fall.
"DJ got us fallin in love again" by Usher ft. Pitbull - Usher finally delivers on this one. I am sick and tired of OMG because that song blows a fat nut, so im glad this tune is gaining popularity. It feels like a mix between his last two big hits, Love in the club and Yeah! I'm pretty mystified by the pitbull cameo though. it really doesn't fit and kind of snaps the vibe of the song right in the middle.
finally, we included an hourlong mix of some summer 2010 favorites by DJ Benzi. definitely a great party mix for the summer months and beyond.
download mix here ----> http://www.mediafire.com/?ckxdqw1nd7erpwk
cudder is back, and this time for real not like that time he released a song called cudderisback like two seconds after he released his first album. we've got two selections for you. the first is a cute summer tune by cudi, the up and coming duo Best Coast, and Rostam something or other from Vampire Weekend. second, the first single off his creatively titled second album (Man on the Moon II) is Erase Me featuring Kanye West. We're diggin this one a lot and expect it to stick around for a while.
billionaire is SO yesterday, at least according to T-Pain and Bun B who offer up this sick jam, perhaps in response to the hit "Billionaire" or as a pun on Bun B's upcoming Trill O.G. album. I thought wanting to be a billionaire was a little ridiculous for skipping the whole millionaire milestone, and this just takes it to another level. Great song though.
now that King James has been villified and all but stripped of his royal stature, we might as well turn to another king - T.I. His comeback has been remarkable, and now that he's done with all his sappy 'im sorry i was in jail' crap he's making some great tunes. "Got Your Back" at first struck me as a less good remake of "Knock You Down" but it's had time to marinate a bit and I'm starting to like it. "Yeah You Know" offers the best of T.I.'s style, just some real hood music, reminiscent of what you know and top back.
Greetings loved ones...lets take a journey to remix land where the song "California Gurls" by Katy Perry and Snoop has been vastly improved upon. First up, Passion Pit takes a swing at remixing this one into a dance-worthy jam. It seems like an unlikely project for Passion Pit, but the result is pretty good. Next, we have a mash up with hit potential. It's a mix of Back to Cali by biggie and the beat from CA girls. Last time someone threw the B.I.G. with a catch female pop hook (Party in the USA vs. Party and Bullshit) big things happened. We'll see with this one.
I gotta say, we totally called "Nothin on you" as the ubiquitous, omnipresent, neverending, constantly played summer jam. I definitely didn't see Airplanes pt. 2 blowing up the way it did, but it's a solid tune. Here's a refreshing break from those two overplayed B.o.b. songs. "Magic" has hit the airwaves but hasn't really taken off yet, but we definitely think it has that potential. B.o.b has created a killer formula of getting catchy hooks from other artists and melding his flow to create some great hip-pop. "She Can Get It" is another catchy one, and definitely has an Outkast-like vibe to it.
Finally, we include a version of "Nothin on You" by Lupe Fiasco, which was allegedly the original version of the song. It features Lupe's more laid back lyrical style and is a bit more barebones on the backgrounds. Sucks for Lupe that he didn't get to put out this track because Mr. Bobby Ray is no doubt rakin' it in from this song.
this is the most ridiculous song ever. about a month ago, this hood rat anthem started infiltrating the radio waves and has taken off in popularity since, even though when heard on the radio this track is about half silence thanks to the editing. Waka flocka flame, a B-list rapper from Atlanta, got hold of a sick beat that he decided to shout his name over a million times on one of his many un-notable mixtapes. Still, it provides a hella good soundtrack for some urban summer cruising.
today we bring you a batch of pretty fresh remixes to some certified jamz. these are all fairly new, having been released in the last month or so, and given our brief hiatus from the blogging business, they've had ample time to marinate in the iTunes for assured quality and taste.
first, we bring you the remix to DJ Khaled's all-star jam "All I Do Is Win" that we brought to you back in January. Khaled and T-Pain know how to bring a remix, and as always, this one rivals the original. I also believe that we have a first here, as it appears that Khaled himself ACTUALLY RAPS. Listen closely to the first verse, I am pretty sure DJ Khaled is mustering up some rhymes instead of just yelling about how he the best. As always there are about fifty million people doing verses on this song but it's so good you wouldn't want it to end anyway.
the next remix comes from some of our favorite remixers, the disco villains, who take B.o.b's hottest song "Nothin on You" and lay down a pretty fat beat to it. Same lyrics, same bruno mars crooning, but a little more aural pleasure from some electro beats and fat bass.
we also include a new remix of lloyd banks' "Beamer Benz or Bently", which we included mostly because Luda is featured. Mr. Banks also deserves the attention seeing he hasn't had a hit song since Money in the Bank. this is a pretty solid jam.
finally, a little something different. it's a reggae cover of the White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army" that we ran across on Hype Machine. surprisingly, this works really well, and we're digging the new sound of an old favorite.
I'd like to take time today to acknowledge an emerging genre on the popular music scene. It is the new phenomenon of "bro rap" hereby known as "brap". Pioneered by Asher Roth and the like, it is being carried on with new force by a northern "bro" named Sam Adams. There is no way this kid's real name is Sam Adams, because I mean he's from Boston and that is just way too stereotypical. It is however a very bro name, and for that he gets props. Anyway, here are a few tunes from Mr. Adams' newest album. Musically, these are pretty awful and low quality. But for some reason they are catchy, uncreative, and people like them. Best served cold with a few brews.
NEW LIL WAYNE MUSIC! nah, just kidding, he's in jail. we do expect a couple of tunes he recorded before his incarceration to drop in the next few months. it's exciting to think just how many rhymes he'll come up with during a whole year of doing nothing but thinking about cool rhymes.
so, without any new lil wayne, we turn to the next best option, which is recycling old lil wayne verses and putting them in other peoples music! we have a wide assortment of awesome lil wayne remixes, some new and some less new. I'm really digging the jason mraz and jah cure remix with I'm Yours. check it out yourself.
we are only kinda fans of lady gaga. she gets so many plays its hard to not know her songs, which I guess kinda means we like her? anyway, just this week she dropped a new single "Alejandro", singlehandedly making shakira totally irrelevant on the pop music scene. If Lady Gaga can do her weird thing AND drop some spanish names here and there, she has entered a whole new market. on a different note, this new song has lent itself to quite a few quality remixes and we include one here for your enjoyment.
this cholo clearly approves of miss gaga's new song.
here's a cute little mix put together by dailybeatz.com that takes the suggestions of a number of music blogs to make a summer 2010 sound. we haven't heard a lot of these but it might be worth looking into. the link to the zip file is included below.
also, we bring you lupe's new video for I'm Beaming, which is still pretty fresh. It was SO fresh a week or two ago, but you know, exams and stuff happened.
for the past year, college students around the globe have turned to one source for their most fratastic listening pleasures - fratmusic.com. this simple yet effective model has provided the soundtrack for every thinkable fratty activity. From sippin brews to pounding brews to booting brews, frat music has been there to light the way through the darkness of every weekend at the court. Such is the reach of this conglomeration of beats that the casual library observer could spot multiple students listening intently to the melodious tunez of frat music throughout exams, helping each one to imbibe way too much information, have their way with book of their choice, then never talk to it again after the exam. such is the lifestyle captured in the sounds of frat music. however, as of late this fraternal mecca of music has ceased to exist thanks to some hard choking on the part of a few so-called "bros" up in cville.
while it will be sorely missed, us here at wild n' out cats have no intentions of stopping. the past month has seen a bit of a dry spell, but your favorite new tunes will again begin to flood this site. while frats and such are only kinda cool every now and then, we keep it real 24/7 and plan to wild n' out all summer long. the real value of frat music was its endless selection of fresh and bumpin jamz. we promise to fulfill that role and more as we roll out the soundtrack to your summer. frat music a.k.a. wild n' out cats is back. stay tuned.
to start off, here's a club banger from taio cruz and kesha, who is probably taking dirty pictures every weekend at whatever frat she can find.
We somehow miraculously ended up on HYPEM, WORD,(http://hypem.com/search/break%20up%20song/1/) needless to say were pumped. So were celebrating the only way we know how by providing you with multiple eargasms.
Disclaimer: This is more of a discovery than a music post. Yea we just found out that this guido lookin pretty boy has been all over akon (beautiful & what you got) and lady gaga (just dance) songs has some of his own songs but gets no love. My guess is Akon keeps him locked away in his closet as a good luck charm, i mean he looks like an all star catcher to me. Yea maybe one day Colby will escape Akon's clutches and make a name for himself but until then he'll continue to make pretty good winy songs about girls that he can't get, probably the hair. Colby O'Donis - I Wanna Touch You by Dj A-Rel
Chiddy Bang returns after a very brief hiatus, churning out mixtapes like its their job. This newest compilation of songs is off of their mini-mixtape Air Swell. 3 pretty tight songs that are worth a listen or 2 or 10 enjoy.
Released yesterday, here's a new single from up and coming Hey Champ. After hearing them off Lupe's iPod at a concert last year, we got hooked on "Cold Dust Girl" which has a sick video included below. Be on the lookout for these guys and their upcoming album.
Here comes a new jam straight out of the 804. Bringin the sound of the Stratford Streets, it's J-Diz with "Maybe", an R&B tune that showcases this budding artist's range of talents.
From the wonderful world of Disney, we bring you a mixtape that will fulfill your wildest dreams. It is none other than DJ Douyou's "Stuntin' Like Mufasa" mixtape. Mixing Disney favorites with hood favorites, it's a musical medley of our childhood mashed with our teenage years.
Sidebar: Look for Jack and Evan performing these favorites and others at a Live Thursdays soon!
We provide you with the title track, a great mix of Can You Feel The Love Tonight and Best I Ever Had, and a link to the entire mixtape which is worth your while.
Word?? these guys actually came to our school and I missed it?? Wow. I just can't believe it.I'm such a huge fan now. People keep hatin on Mike posner saying he's a herb but I could care less he makes some great music. Well people's remixes of his songs are legit. I mean thats gotta count for something at least 50%. Neway here are some remixes to mike posner songs.
So yea neways, we got this sick dubstep song. Dubstep is pretty big in california so a dubstep remix to california love was long in the works (thank you rusko). I'm loving it but maybe its because I'm from California probs not though.
Ight we also got this real catchy song called 143. 143 means I love you(one letter in I, 4 letters in love and 3 letters in you, yea real lame but the songs legit and catchy as shit)
we're fresh back from atlanta, where we spent most of the weekend naming rappers from the ATL and then listening to their jamz. the list just doesn't end. we return with a fresh single gaining notoriety fast. B.o.b., out of Atlanta of course, has reached number five on the Billboard Hot 100 in a short amount of time, and we bring you the remix released today featuring fellow ATL rapper Big Boi of Outkast. Second, we bring you another Luda chart smasher. It's not quite new, but really blowing up right now. Along with British RnB star Taio Cruz, this jam is gonna be pumping out your speakers all summer long from the ATL to the LDN.
Bonus Track: More Taio Cruz with his hit single from last year ft. Tinchy Stryder. This one was number 3 in the UK in '09.
K'naan effervescent anthem, Wavin' Flag, has been deemed the official song of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa (he's from Somalia, but close). So what better thing to do than start mixing it? Here's a fresh one from DJ Pranksta - Wavin' Flag - K'naan vs. Down - Jay Sean ft. Lil' Wayne. Kick it around for a while.
Also, stay tuned for a post of Evan's tight new friz vid with a familiar soundtrack.
We haven't posted in a while but were back with this relevant single from lil wayne and yung joc. Since its been raining for the past forver we felt like a song called drip was pretty appropiate. Yung Joc Feat. Lil Wayne - Drip by boomboompaolo
old song, new video. Kanye drops his newest music video today for 'Coldest Winter' off his 08 album. Pretty appropriate given the multiple snowpocalypses, snowmaggedons, and snowtorious b.i.g. storms we've had. luckily it's in the 50s now but this has definitely been the coldest winter. on another note, this video is really really weird. directed by the same guy who did welcome to heartbreak which was a lot cooler. oh well.
Doppelganger ^ Work finally quit kickin my ass so I'm back on the grind. Here's a little sample of whats cookin. I did a little mixin of Memories by david guetta, Birthday Sex by Jerimih and Meet me Halfway by the Black Eyed Peas, enjoy: Memories, Sex and Black Eyed Peas by Dj A-Rel by user1777032
